BOTOX

Botox is a crystalline liquid that is dissolved in a saline or similar solution. After that, it is injected into the area intended. This compound, when injected to the neuromuscular components, blocks the muscles from contracting. Thus, it will obviously gratefully smoothen the frown lines, wrinkles and sweat all around the skin. However, it usually lasts up to 6 months, when its effects begin to fade.

Lip Botox

Lips Botox, the more common name for lip flip botox is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure that uses Botox to form the illusion of fuller lips. Unlike lip fillers that increase the volume of your lips directly, a lip flip injection helps you relax the muscles around the upper lip. This procedure allows the lip to “flip” outward a bit, which creates an appearance of a more voluminous lip. The procedure is fast, usually lasting about 10 minutes, and only a single session is needed. A lip flip will give you a permanent effect one week after the injection, becoming its highest point two weeks later, and will last for about two to three months. It’s just a subtle enhancement compared to lip fillers and it won’t change the shape of your lips dramatically.

Face Botox

Face Botox is similar to lip flips in that they both use the same injectable neurotoxin, but they differ in the location of the muscle that the toxin is being injected into to address different types of wrinkles and lines.Here’s a breakdown:
  • Frown Line Reduction: It is done by injecting Botox into the area between brows, which helps to relax the muscles responsible for creating those deep frown lines. It makes skin look smoother and more relaxed and it takes approximately 10-15 minutes. The effects start to show within a week, heightening in 2-3 weeks, and remaining for 3-4 months.
  • Crow’s Feet Treatment: The botox injections are aimed at the muscles around the eyes, which are the cause of wrinkles when you smile. This helps to minimize the crow’s feet lines, which in turn makes your eyes appear brighter and more youthful. The process takes 10 minutes, with results appearing in a week and lasting for 3-4 months.
  • Forehead Line Smoothing: Horizontal forehead wrinkles are handled by injecting Botox into the muscles of the forehead. This has a calming effect on them which helps in minimizing those lines and generating a more youthful and friendly look. The treatment is fast (10-15 minutes) with results coming in a week and lasting 3-4 months.
  • Glabellar Lines Treatment: These are the lines between your eyebrows and they make you look angry. Botox injections allow the responsible muscles to relax and thus the lines tend to disappear from the face, making it look more relaxed. Similarly, to other areas, the procedure takes around 10 minutes and effect remains for 3-4 months after a week’s wait.
  • Bunny Lines Reduction: The scrunching of your nose when you smile or squint can be treated with Botox injections. That results in the muscles relaxing around the nose and therefore reducing bunny lines. The process is short, and the effects remain for 2-3 months after the first signs show up within one week.

Sweat Botox

Sweat Botox, functions in a similar manner to face Botox, but instead of focusing on the muscles of the face, it targets the sweat glands in specific areas to reduce excessive sweating. Here’s a breakdown by treatable body part:

  • Armpit Botox: The injections of Armpit Botox target the sweat glands in the armpits, causing reduction in the sweat production to 80-90%. It lasts for 6 to 8 months.

  • Hands Botox: Botox injections can be used for a treatment of sweaty palms. It can provide short-term relief for 3 weeks to 6 months.

  • Feet Botox: Like the hands, Botox injections can also be used to treat excessive feet sweating. The result may be effective but it depends on the person and the effect may last for a few months.
